[ Left in a paper bag at Plumage a few weeks after their meet-up is a simple fan, very clearly handmade with a knowing eye, but a little rough around the edges. The name "Huey" is engraved into edge of it, but beyond that there's no artsy carving, just sturdy made and well finished plain wood. A scrap of paper with some scrawl is stuffed into the bag alongside it. ]
