Existing outside of grand romantic stories. I very much like grand romantic stories, but I've recently developed some doubts as to whether anyone really loves anyone as truly as in the tales. If any of this 'love' stuff is more than fast friendship with a side of sex.
Love is a fundamental aspect of humanity. I imagine opposing it stirs up strong feelings in any who either consider themselves or ally themselves thusly.

I would disagree, having seen genuine love firsthand, but I understand that it is a difficult thing to imagine if one hasn't felt it themselves.
